Site Superintendent (ICI — Ground‑Up) Location: GTA Compensation: $140,000–$170,000 Position Summary Responsible for managing all on-site construction activities for new-build hospital projects from excavation to turnover. Ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to hospital-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day site operations for ground-up hospital builds. Implement and enforce all health & safety policies. Coordinate and schedule trades, suppliers, and inspections. Review and interpret drawings, specs, and RFIs on site. Monitor quality, resolve site issues, and manage deficiencies. Maintain site reports, daily logs, and progress photos. Communicate regularly with Project Manager, consultants, and client representatives. Qualifications 5–10+ years’ experience as a Site Superintendent (ground-up ICI preferred). Proven experience on hospital or healthcare projects is a strong asset. Strong knowledge of building codes, healthcare standards, and infection-control requirements. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Certificates / Requirements Valid health & safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid, COR training, etc.). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
