We’re looking for a senior-level Shopify UI/UX Designer with strong frontend development expertise to lead design and implementation of best-in-class ecommerce experiences. This role blends creative direction, UX thinking, and hands-on front-end development across Shopify, custom React components, and Liquid theme work. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end UX/UI design for Shopify stores: wireframes, prototypes, visual systems, and high-fidelity Figma designs. Build and maintain modern, high-performing Shopify themes using Liquid, React, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript . Implement reusable UI components, interactive modules, and custom storefront features. Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering on user flows, site architecture, and CRO-driven UX improvements. Optimize for speed, accessibility, mobile UX, and best practices in Shopify front-end performance. Translate data insights, heatmaps, and user behavior into design and experience improvements. What You Bring 7+ years in UI/UX design and front-end development, ideally within ecommerce or DTC environments. Expert proficiency in Figma , Liquid , React , and modern front-end tooling. Strong understanding of Shopify theme architecture, Sections Everywhere, metafields, and headless integrations. Demonstrated ability to ship polished, conversion-focused interfaces from concept through production. Strong portfolio showcasing Shopify design + development work. Excellent problem solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
