Take lead on employee relations resulting in litigation.Advise managers and coach HR team on compensation matters, utilizing the classification system, pay structure and total compensation strategy.Ensure HR strategy is executed in assigned business units and that talent management programs and initiatives are operationalized.Provide HR policy guidance, interpretation, and compliance, managing risk for the business units.Collaborate with managers on workforce planning and employee development.Act as an employee champion and change agent, ensuring internal equity and staff wellness.Work with managers in business units on disability claims and return to work/accommodations.Lead the development of the human resource operations, including the capacity of building the team, as well as oversee the organizational integration and adoption of sound people practices and procedures at all organization levels.Provide coaching to improve performance of team members and drive accountability.Report any significant changes to regulations, laws and accepted human resources practices to senior leadership and management as needed.Seek and review potential blockers of various HR processes, ensuring improvement on daily tasks and suggesting automation where needed.Accountabilities Oversee the creation and execution of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation parity, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, onboarding and performance management.Develop methods, tools and metrics to measure effectiveness of HR programming (KPI’s).
