Job DescriptionReporting to the Manager, Financial Analysis and Optimization, the Senior Financial Analyst will gather all the elements required to produce results and analyses related to maintenance. This person will participate in the analysis and implementation of new business processes, while ensuring that financial information is adequately captured.
- Participate in the production of monthly, quarterly and annual results and analyses of Air Transat's maintenance costs in compliance with IFRS;
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of aircraft maintenance provisions in compliance with IFRS16;
- Monitor balance sheet provisions and lessor cash balances;
- Support the Manager budgets planning and financial forecasting;
- Carry out various operational analysis and provide support to operational management;
- Participate in extra-financial analysis and formulate recommendations for follow-up;
- Collaborate with various business partners to optimize processes;
- Participate in the analysis of the financial impact of new contracts;
- Support the Chief Accountant in all external and internal audits;
- Perform any other related tasks.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum 5-7 years experience
- Experience in large corporations and aviation an asset
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Excellent command of Office suite tools;
- Autonomous and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Thoroughness and attention to detail;
- Good team spirit;
- Bilingual (written and spoken)
