Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as an Account Executive. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our customer base, managing long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is an on-site position based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, offering a competitive salary, group health benefits, professional development support, and an excellent work environment. Responsibilities: Identify and explore new business opportunities through various channels, including website, social media, and outreach via phone calls. Target and acquire potential customers to expand our market presence. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with the technical team to understand customer needs, introduce products, provide effective solutions, and provide accurate price quotations. Negotiate terms with customers to ensure successful order fulfillment. Oversee and follow up on the delivery process, ensuring timely and efficient service. Represent the company at international trade shows, fostering connections and staying abreast of industry trends. Contribute to the development of business plans, sales forecasts, and marketing strategies to drive overall growth. Qualifications: Education: Background in electrical engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred. Experience in the power industry (generators, transformers, switchgear, etc.) is required. Proven success in a sales or account management role, ideally with technical products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first attitude. Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment. Willingness to travel within BC, Alberta, and Ontario as needed for customer visits and events. Compensation Options: Base salary + commission (starting from $60,000 per year) Commission-only plan (structure to be discussed with qualified candidates) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $60,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Paid time off Work Location: In person
