The Driving Force Inc. at Edmonton West is currently seeking a seasoned Branch Manager to oversee our Rentals, Sales, and Lease services. Join our team, you will immerse yourself in a supportive environment devoted to your success and overall welfare, even amidst the fast-paced environment of our most frequent locations.Why consider working with us?You are valued and supported with competitive pay and benefits, such as extended health coverage, dental benefits, and a personal spending account.We prioritize your team’s well-being by offering various perks, including a 50% discount on rentals at any DRIVING FORCE location and a company matched savings and emergency funds program for your future security.We emphasize work-life balance, offering 3 weeks of accruable vacation, a flexible work arrangement, and wellness programs for personal and family focus.We are commitment to your growth with our inclusive and enjoyable company culture that allows career advancement through hands on training and opportunities for career progression within the organization.You will experience a vibrant and cooperative work atmosphere, along with the chance to collaborate with a forward-thinking team in the automotive sector.What you’ll do: Planning and maintaining appropriate staff levels which includes onboarding and offboarding, in accordance with Human Resources, and choosing the team that delivers the best results for the branch.Supervising, leading, training and mentoring branch employees on agreed company culture, brand messaging and policies.Ensuring regular performance reviews of branch employees are conducted as per company performance management program.Promoting the company’s service culture vision by supporting training and accountability initiatives with employees and vendors, celebrating team success, and mitigating customer complaintsCultivating business contacts, leads, and potential employee candidates by attending networking events in the community and by installing a branch business development consultant where applicable by branch size.Maintaining dealership vendor relations to ensure the ongoing supply of vehicles and warranty assistance.Ensuring yearly reviews of location’s critical vendors are conducted to adequately qualify that these businesses are licensed (where applicable), are in good standing with WCB and sufficiently insured to do business with TDFI.Full accountability for reviewing, analyzing, understanding, and explaining all financial results and department KPI’s for the branch.Ensuring that there is a dedicated focus to build the capability of the branch across Rentals, Sales, and LeasingProducing an annual business plan and budget in alignment with the company’s strategic and operational objectivesEnsuring that branch physical inspections (hoists, elevators, fire extinguishers, roofs, sidewalks, business license, and dealer license) are conducted according to legislated requirements or on a seasonal basis.What you'll need:Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Marketing, or related area preferred.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management roleMinimum of 5 years’ experience within the automotive industry or similarMust have an active Sales License, where applicableExperience with Finance and Insurance, Leasing, Sales, or Rentals OperationsMust have knowledge and/or experience with financial statements and developing budgets.Excellent leadership skills with the passion to coach and mentor a successful teamProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.Calling all applicants across Canada While we welcome talent from every corner, please be ready to relocate to Edmonton, AB.
