Position Overview Reporting to the Project Principal, the Energy Modeler will be responsible for developing and analyzing building energy models for a range of new construction and retrofit projects across commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will help deliver integrated, data-driven, and sustainable design solutions. Qualifications: Excellent English Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in building energy modeling or performance analysis. Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC). Proficiency in energy simulation software such as IES-VE, eQUEST, EnergyPlus, and RETScreen Expert. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. A creative and curious mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Valid driving license and access to reliable transportation.
