Opus Academy, founded in 2004, is one of the premier providers of the after-school enrichment education in Greater Vancouver area.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music/Voice Teacher to Join our team. As a Music/Voice Teacher, you will be responsible for providing musiceducation to students of various ages and skill levels. This is a rewarding opportunity to share your love for music and singingand inspire students to develop their musical talents.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement music lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Provide individual and group instruction to students
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their musical development
- Organize and coordinate student performances and recitals
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall music program

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts, Performing Arts in Voice or/and Drama or in related areas
- Previous experience as a Music/Voice Teacher or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of music theory, instruments, and various musical genres
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of different ages and backgrounds
- Experience working with early childhood education and youth is a plus
- Familiarity with tutoring or teaching in a classroom setting is a plus
