Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to drive growth.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Identify and pursue new client leads, including corporate clients, sponsors, and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations to secure new business opportunities.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Event Planning and Execution:
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution of client events.
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of events to ensure client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve event offerings and services.
  • Networking and Industry Engagement:
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company.
  • Represent the company in a professional and engaging manner to build brand awareness and credibility.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and leverage new trends to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the events and entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking abilities and a proactive approach to building relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
