As we have finally found a new home in North Vancouver, just a few minutes from the SeaBus, we are seeking a multi-faceted Art Services and Studio/Installation Assistant. The focus will initially be on office administrative tasks, including but not limited to email communication and logistical support. This part-time position, primarily office-based, offers potential for expansion into full-time engagement following a successful trial period. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, and while a background in art handling is preferred, framing experience is a significant bonus but not required.
Manage client bookings, estimates, data entry, and outreach.
- Oversee logistics, material orders, and participate in custom framing services.
- Perform general office and customer service duties, including managing communications and answering calls.
- Support studio and installation projects, contributing to artwork creation, promotion, and gallery organization.
Strong computer skills, especially with Mac systems.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills for managing client relationships.
- Experience in art handling with the ability to multitask and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Capacity to lift a minimum of 25kg and work efficiently with proper art handling techniques.
- Driver's license (preferred, but not required).
