RELIEF PROGRAM SUPERVISOR (TORONTO)- AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates in more than 240 schools providing before school, lunch, and after school programs and 30 full-day early learning and child care centres and six EarlyON locations for children from 0 - 6 years.
PLASP is committed to hiring, training, and fairly compensating staff. The Relief Program Supervisor candidate must be available for a minimum of 3 afternoons per week (Monday to Friday). The candidate will be asked to commute to various PLASP Programs for their shift and must be comfortable with this travel commitment.
Assists in planning, developing and implementing a program of stimulating activities for children 4 years to 12 years of age which will promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being
5 hours per day from September to June with the opportunity to work in Holiday, March Break and Summer Camp.
Staff are required to attend meetings and training sessions during the day
Experience working with groups of school aged children in a formal setting
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Supervisory experience an asset
Positive and sensitive attitude towards children and staff
Flexible and energetic approach to work
Physically able to participate with children in the gym and outdoors and set up program equipment
Basic ability to use technology (including smart phones, computers, tablets)
Hourly Wage: $21.09 plus hourly Provincial Wage Enhancement if applicable
