Johnson Electric (formerly Stackpole) is excited to announce we are now recruiting for a IT Cybersecurity Analyst in our Canada market. As a Level-2 Security Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of Johnson Electric’s critical assets and networks.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Partner with a third-party Security Operations Center (SOC) team to meet corporate security operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Act as a level-2 analyst, contributing to incident response and threat detection.
  • Conduct regular security reviews and compliance checks for critical assets and networks.
  • Ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
  • Manage vulnerability assessments and patch deployments globally.
  • Meet KPIs related to vulnerability management.
  • Design security playbooks and threat hunting models in collaboration with the outsourced SOC team.
  • Enhance proactive threat detection capabilities.
  • Perform regular penetration scans to meet compliance requirements in both IT and OT networks.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance evidence.

Our Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years in information security, with relevant experience in a technical or consulting environment.
  • Exposure to OT security controls is desirable.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Zscaler, Sophos, MDE, Proofpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Qualys, or TrendMicro.
  • Knowledge of one or more industry standards, including ISO 27001, Tisax ISA 5.1, and NIST SP 800-82.
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or GIAC.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is essential.
  • Ability to work with security leads across European, Americas, and Canada regions during their morning time zone on a weekly basis.
  • Willingness to travel or have an extended stay in China with a valid visa.
