Job Description:

Be part of Capgemini’s team as a Senior Software Engineer (C++ & Python) and contribute by creating solutions for existing technical challenges with one of the world’s largest social media platforms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtains tasks from the project lead or Team Lead (TL), prepares functional and design specifications, approves them with all stakeholders.
  • Ensures that assigned area/areas are delivered within set deadlines and required quality objectives.
  • Provides estimations, agrees task duration with the manager and contributes to project plan of assigned area.
  • Develops best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system
  • Design, implement and maintain pipelines that produce business critical data reliably and efficiently using cloud technology

Required Skills:

  • 5+ Yrs. Experience within C++ coding
  • Strong Python coding experience
  • Experience working within Linux OS and Bash
  • Previous experience using Docker

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience within AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Good knowledge of Bazel
  • Experience as a Build Engineer or similar
