Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and service. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery. Monitor the preparation of food items to ensure they meet quality standards. Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS if applicable. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Assist in meal preparation and serving during peak hours to ensure customer satisfaction. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking and food handling techniques. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and guests. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous, as well as barista experience for those involved in beverage preparation.
