A Set-up Technician is responsible for manufacturing parts and assemblies for shipment to customers, meeting
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) measures for quality and performance. It is the Set-up Technician's job to ensure that the equipment produces parts throughout the production
Ensure that established OEE quality, availability and performance standards are achieved within designated cells and workstations.
Ensure that all parts are checked according to the established Quality Control Standards using the tools provided.
Immediately set in to troubleshoot problems to ensure timely and appropriate repair.
If a quick and effective repair is not possible, notify the supervisor immediately to assign a Line Mechanic.
In any event, if a repair extends beyond time or complexity guidelines, the Line Mechanic will be called in.
A strong mechanical aptitude is required.
Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent is an asset.
