Canada West Veterinary Specialists (CWVS), a privately owned and operated, multi-disciplinary emergency and specialty hospital is looking for exceptional Veterinary Technicians to join our General Wards and Intensive Care Unit. The first veterinary specialty hospital in Metro Vancouver, CWVS is a state-of-the-art Level VECCS level 1 and VetCOT certified facility. We have 30+ veterinarians in the following disciplines: emergency and critical care, surgery, neurology, radiology, internal medicine, and oncology. In addition to a rehabilitation department, 6 ORs, 2 isolation wards, and a newly redesigned ER, ICU, and Wards, we are equipped with 2 digital radiology suites, a new CT, and a 1.5T MRI. Ability to work with little or no supervision when necessary and ability to work as part of a team Excellent communication skills, computer and phone skills High level of professionalism Our Technicians typically work 10 hour days, 4 days a week but may be scheduled to work 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts in accordance with hospital need.
