Machine Learning PhD Internship - Video2Motion - SEED Montreal / Stockholm Electronic Arts is looking for high performing students to join our world-class internship experience. Some of our research includes bringing digital characters to life, using machine learning for game AI and content creation, and developing novel real-time graphics & physics techniques. We are looking for a PhD Intern - Video to Motion to develop a novel machine learning model that converts videos into high-fidelity character animation. The objective is to build a 3D human pose estimation (HPE) system that can reconstruct accurate human motion from video inputs. As a PhD Intern, you will: Perform a literature review Evaluate state-of-the-art methods Propose and experiment with novel approaches and methods Plan and build a proof-of-concept demonstration Write a technical report and share insights by giving presentations to the team As a diverse team with solid goals, we provide autonomy and true influence to each member of SEED. Qualifications Ongoing Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Machine Learning, or any other relevant field Experience in using video data for training ML models Knowledge in 3D human pose and animation techniques You care about video games as a medium.
