Responsible a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. The job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing equipment.

Modify, maintain, or repair electrical, electronic, or mechanical components, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning.
Install or program computer hardware or machine or instrumentation software in microprocessor-based systems.
Routine preventative maintenance of high-speed production equipment
Troubleshooting and repair manufacturing and production equipment to minimize line downtime and optimize production quality and efficiencies.
Carry out PLC troubleshooting and programming changes as required.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and complete assigned work orders according to PM schedules to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Involve with equipment installations and modifications as required.
Work in a safe manner ensuring all safety procedures are followed ensuring compliance with legislation and technical standards.
Report any issues to maintenance planning coordinator immediately.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices and use of personal protective equipment.
Adhere to food safety and GMP requirements while performing maintenance tasks to ensure safety and quality.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Electric and automation troubleshooting and installation.
Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices , Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., and electrical drawings and blueprints.
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
Strong PLC programming knowledge required
Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
Must hold a valid license to practice profession.
Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.
