Ce que vous aurez comme mandat a titre de coordonnateur SST :

Tout en relevant de l’ingénieur de l’usine, vous coordonnerez et planifierez la formation en sécurité et fournirez du matériel pour soutenir l’exploitation; rendre compte de la formation en matière de sécurité et des résultats de la vérification au gestionnaire et des lacunes réglementaires applicables cernées dans le cadre du processus de vérification.

  • Assurer un soutien en matière de sécurité, une présence et une orientation quant à la philosophie générale de sécurité; évaluer et exécuter les programmes de santé et de sécurité des lieux, et assurer la conformité aux lois provinciales et fédérales applicables, ainsi qu’aux politiques et aux procédures de la société.
  • Participer à l’élaboration du plan stratégique de sécurité de l’établissement.
  • Former, éduquer et perfectionner continuellement tous les salariés de l’usine en ce qui a trait aux pratiques de travail sécuritaires, aux politiques, aux procédures, aux normes et aux rapports en matière de sécurité, d’environnement et de santé.
  • Soutenir pleinement les initiatives de sécurité par contact direct avec les dirigeants, afin de répondre aux préoccupations relatives à la sécurité.
  • Effectuer des vérifications de sécurité régulières.
  • Gérer, coordonner et suivre toutes les activités de sécurité des sous-piliers dans le cadre du Système de Performance
  • Coordonner les calendriers, les ordres du jour, les documents et les activités des réunions sur la sécurité; assumer la responsabilité des mises à jour pour assurer le suivi des mesures à prendre découlant des réunions sur la sécurité et des vérifications de sécurité.
  • Assister et préparer les présentations ainsi que les documents requis pour les réunions de santé sécurité de la Division.
  • Diriger les enquêtes après incident, et recommander des mesures correctives durables; assumer la responsabilité de l’examen de tous les incidents évités de justesse et les rapports d’incident à partir de la base de données des rapports d’incident, et discuter des incidents avec les coéquipiers et les salariés.
  • Examiner et créer les analyses de la sécurité des tâches, des analyses de risques, des leçons en un point, des procédures d’exploitation normalisées et des instructions de travail.
  • Démontrer la connaissance des exigences environnementales touchant nos activités; tenir des dossiers exacts conformément aux politiques de l’’entreprise, du ministère de l’Environnement provincial et d’Environnement Canada.
  • Vous êtes responsable de vous assurer que l’usine est conforme à toutes les lois et exigences locales, provinciales et fédérales en matière de sécurité.

What you will be responsible for as an H&S Coordinator:

Reporting to the factory engineer, you will coordinate and plan safety training and provide materials to support operations; report on safety training and verification results to the manager and identify applicable regulatory gaps identified in the verification process.

  • Ensure safety support, presence, and guidance on the general safety philosophy; assess and implement site health and safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable provincial and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the development of the establishment's safety strategic plan.
  • Continuously train, educate, and develop all factory employees in safe work practices, policies, procedures, standards, and safety, environmental, and health reporting.
  • Fully support safety initiatives by directly contacting leaders to address safety concerns.
  • Perform regular safety audits.
  • Manage, coordinate, and track all safety activities of sub-pillars within the Performance System.
  • Coordinate schedules, agendas, documents, and activities for safety meetings; take responsibility for updates to ensure follow-up on actions arising from safety meetings and safety audits.
  • Assist and prepare presentations and required documents for Division health safety meetings.
  • Lead post-incident investigations and recommend sustainable corrective actions; be responsible for reviewing all narrowly avoided incidents and incident reports from the incident report database, and discuss incidents with teammates and employees.
  • Review and create job safety analyses, risk assessments, one-point lessons, standardized operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of environmental requirements affecting our activities; maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies, provincial Ministry of Environment, and Environment Canada.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the factory complies with all local, provincial, and federal safety laws and requirements.
