Jardeg Construction is recruiting a Lube Technician / Millwright for Maintenance positions at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort MacKay, Alberta.

Charter flights are provided from Calgary/Edmonton to site Shift schedules will be on a 14/14 rotation, 11.5 hours per day. While working on site, workers will be staying at the Wapasu camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facility, Wi-Fi, commissary and much more We also have new HIGHER rates for all craft workers

Lube technicians maintain, repair, and troubleshoot stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in sites such as factories, production plants, and recreational facilities. We are looking for candidates with experience with Machinery Lubrication Technician Training (MLT through ICM) and Mechanical background.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oil Sampling Changes/Hot Flushes
  2. Grease dispensing / Bearing purges
  3. Oil Analysis performed with ISO particle counter
  4. Monitoring a variety of rotating equipment, such as Pumps, Motors, Compressors, Gearboxes through our Operator Directed Reliability program
  5. Monitoring Filtration, Hydraulic and Conveyor systems
  6. Adjustments to lube levels as required
  7. Filter changes, Oil and Air
  8. Operating Service trucks, Forklifts, Flat Deck and Pick up trucks
  9. Operating Client owned Lubrication Trucks and all pumps associated with lubrication distribution activities
  10. Operation of Positive and Non-Positive displacement pumps
  11. Mechanically inclined with solid knowledge and use of basic hand tools
  12. Maintain an inventory of replacement parts

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Registered Millwright Apprentice / Journeyperson
  2. Energy Safety Canada Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  3. Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection
  4. Energy Safety Canada Confined Space Entry and Monitor
  5. Energy Safety Canada Wood Buffalo wildlife awareness
  6. Standard First Aid (Level A or C)
  7. Basic Rigging
  8. Driver’s License
