The Occupational Therapist works within a continuous quality improvement framework, which reflects VHA’s core beliefs and mission of services as well as promoting and maintaining good public relations with clients, customers and VHA staff, volunteers and associates. #LI-VHAKey Areas of AccountabilityVHA's Occupational Therapist have the following key areas of accountability, but not limited to:Assesses and implements occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional practice guidelines and standards established by VHA and the perspective regulatory college.Implement client interventions based on assessment information, client input and in conjunction with the client’s integrated care plan.Ensure that services provided are best practice, evidence-based and evaluated through the routine use of valid and reliable outcome measured.Ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with all members of the client’s team regarding plans and schedules for interventions.Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries of interventions as required by the profession, referral source and the organization.Supports safe client care through the development of knowledge and skills in accordance with our principles of continuous quality improvement.Required Qualifications:Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school of Occupational Therapy.Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.Valid Driver’s License with access to a vehicleCompassionate and empatheticSelf-driven with ability to work independentlySkilled in caseload managementSkilled at electronic documentationAble to provide virtual careA registered ADP authorizer (asset)What makes CRS’s compensation unique?Compensation for education and professional developmentCRS is a leading learning organization so we can provide you with comprehensive orientation and training at the start and throughout your careerMentorship and peer supportCareer development opportunitiesEmployee and family assistance programWellness resourcesPerks & discountsStaff & service provider eventsAccommodation and CRS’s commitment to DEIAt Champlain Rehab Solutions (CRS), we passionately strive to uphold our commitments to being an Equal Opportunity Employer.
