In this position, the incumbent is expected to work with little supervision daily. This position reports to the Director, Portfolio Management and is a member of the CEO Office portfolio management team.Duties:Provide project management and leadership by overseeing project management processes: project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling and closing.Lead various priority projects and initiatives associated with the Portfolio Management office. Help establish overall project vision, charter, scope, goals, and strategic priorities.Develop project management plans to achieve goals/objectives of the project and timelines that coincide with the project financial budget(s) and other targetsDevelop and help execute a communication plan for the project(s) in collaboration with various stakeholdersEnsure that appropriate project reporting, monitoring and evaluation processes are in place.Ensure project evaluation framework is developed and evaluation implementedProvide administrative and coordination support to ensure successful completion of projects and initiativesManage project budgets as assigned to work plan activitiesSupport successful team functioning and project implementation through open communication, and effective working relationships.Model and foster an environment of teamwork, open communication, partnership and service integration with the CEO, ELT, HPEI divisions, DHW and other organizationsMaintain effective liaisons with other health, government and/or community agencies and seek opportunities for enhanced partnership4Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must have a university degree in a related discipline, preference for a master’s degree in a relevant discipline, with professional development coursework in project managementMust have considerable (3-5 years) experience, including experience working with management and executives, preferably in a health-related settingDemonstrated Equivalencies will be consideredMust have experience managing projects and strong knowledge of the healthcare systemExperience, high knowledge and proficiency in budget planning and management / supervision; project/program planning, performance monitoring and reporting; research, analysis, development and program evaluation; research methods; team building and group facilitation; and stakeholder engagement communications is required.Must have demonstrated management and leadership skillsMust have strong interpersonal, facilitation and collaboration skillsExcellent ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with stakeholders is requiredExcellent problem solving, conflict resolutions and facilitation skills; excellent oral and written communication skills are requiredDemonstrated ability to think and plan strategically and to develop and deliver presentations is requiredDemonstrated proficiency with typical business and analytical software, such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email and statistical analysis software is requiredMust have a good work and attendance recordOther Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferredMaster’s degree preferredBenefits:Employee Assistance ProgramOn-site parkingWellness program
