From denim that you can cycle in, to pants that eliminate sweat, DUER enables you to do everything you do in a day – in style.* We’re expanding our retail doors, and are looking for an entrepreneurial Assistant Store Manager to bring creativity and leadership to our Kitsilano team Having a passion for customer service is a must, along with embodying our DUER values of authenticity and adventure.* Reporting to the Kitsilano Store Manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist in owning and strategizing for all aspects of store operations, sales, and team development - along with growing our DUER community in the regional market.*WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** Entrepreneurial mindset* Natural leader with the ability to develop and inspire a team* Drive to grow the DUER community and expand our reach, one pant at a time* Results driven leader* Passion for customer service* Operational excellence* Highly professional and organized self-starter* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills* Fun and upbeat personality* Embody what it means to be a DUER* Lives the DUER Core Values of Courage, Health + Wellness, Continuous Development, Simplicity and Customer Centricity*CORE RESPONSIBILITIES*_STORE OPERATIONS_* Lead, manage, and execute day to day operations at the store* Implement and maintain in-store merchandising plans to the highest standard* Assist all inventory management processes (product replenishment, back stock maintenance, shipping/receiving)* Collaborate with the Store Manager to update and implement policies and processes* Support the Omni-Channel experience in-store; Ecomm Order Management, Curbside Pick Up, Ship to Home* Anything else as delegated by the Store Manager_DRIVING SALES_* Ensure KPI and sales goals are always met and exceeded* 100% on the sales floor to lead by example and coach in the moment* Manage and achieve in-store KPI’s* Lead by example on the sales floor while coaching and developing all staff in the moment* Bring to life all marketing initiatives and campaigns_CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE / COMMUNITY / BRAND_* Ensure customer experience is world-class on the sales floor, all of the time* Plan, execute, and grow the local DUER community through store events, partnerships, and ambassadors* Become an internal product knowledge expert and truly live and breathe the DUER brand* Be a lead brand ambassador in the local community_PEOPLE_* Assist the Store Manager in all HR functions related to hiring, team development, scheduling, payroll, and performance management* Train, and develop a high performing team that provides world-class experiences* Coach and develop the team on a daily basis towards our goals*NON-NEGOTIABLES** 2+ years experience leading teams* Provides world class customer experiences* Collaborator* Solutions focused* Growth mindset* Passion and track record for developing people* Community builder* Previous experience in fashion/performance apparel industry - an asset* Open availability*WHY DUER?** Extended health benefits* Generous employee discounts* Clothing allowance* Great growth potential* Fun, engaging, and innovative retail experience*How We Work** *Solutions Focused Leaders;* We as a team strive to find solutions for challenges that we face rather than be in complaint.
