The client places great emphasis on fostering a positive culture and prioritizes a safe and healthy workplace, hiring based on attitude and providing training for skills.Your new roleThe Automation Technician responsibilities involves planning work processes, performing maintenance on automated sorting equipment, handling low and high voltage systems (including troubleshooting and installation), understanding electrical principles, following blueprints for installation and repair, troubleshooting and programming automated equipment (primarily PLC-based), diagnosing and repairing automation hardware components, and collaborating with vendors during remote trouble sessions. Additionally, the technician supports other mechanical and electrical tradespeople and the operations team.Your SkillsMust Electrician Redseal Ticket. +3 to 5 years’ hands-on experience in troubleshooting and programming of automated equipment/system. Motor control and PLC program training Fundamental knowledge of computer system and servers. In depth understanding of electronic components. Hands on experience of VFD and programming. AssetRockwell automation certification Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proven diagnostic skills to systematically identify and resolve technical problems. Other skills Excellent oral and written communication skills. Manual dexterity and attention to detail Self-motivated and calm under pressureWhat you'll get in return? The hourly range for this role is 40 - 50 CAD / hr.
