We are currently hiring for a Buyer, a full-time role offering competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and excellent potential for career growth. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records. This position requires relocation to the Englefeld/Humboldt or nearby area . We offer relocation support for the right candidate. Strong health and safety culture Comprehensive benefits (Health spending & wellness accounts) Group registered company pension plan Safety boot allowance Prescription glasses allowance Bonus programs such as quarterly incentive bonus, safety bonus, gift cards and more Service awards Employee assistance program (EAP) Educational / training opportunities & scholarships for dependent children A safe, supportive work environment with room to grow Responsibilities Create and maintain relationships with suppliers Enter and send purchase orders to vendors as required by reviewing MRP messages Review purchase orders for accuracy of pricing and delivery dates Follow up with vendors to ensure “on time” orders Work with various departments coordinate shipments efficiently Assist in inventory management and work within budgeted levels Update of system with current pricing and lead times in a timely manner Assist in maintaining the CTPAT program Other duties as assigned Qualifications 1-3 experience in a buying role preferably in a Manufacturing environment Experience with customs and logistics is an asset Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP), Certified Purchasing Professional designation (or equivalent) or working towards would be an asset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ready to take the next step in your career?
