Their primary focus is to align environmental solutions with their clients’ business goals—facilitating transactions and achieving regulatory compliance efficiently.The RoleWe are currently recruiting a Contaminated Sites Project Lead to manage and execute a range of environmental projects. This position offers full flexibility to work remotely, in-office, or a mix of both. You’ll never be on your own—support comes from a seasoned team of professionals across multiple locations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage environmental projects such as:Phase I & II (or Stage 1 & 2) Environmental Site AssessmentsDetailed Site InvestigationsRemediation and sampling programsSupplemental investigationsDevelop scopes of work, budgets, and execution strategies for environmental assessments and management programsConduct research, guide field programs, and prepare/review technical reportsMentor and support junior and intermediate members of the Site Investigation teamCommunicate with clients, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders to move projects forward efficientlyCollaborate with internal teams to develop creative and practical solutions aligned with client business goalsMaintain organized and accessible project records using project management softwareMonitor project budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effective executionPromote and uphold health and safety standards across all project activitiesWhat You BringA Bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental science or engineering field (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, Biology, etc.)A professional designation (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Chem., P.Ag., or R.P.Bio.), or eligibility to register within 6 months5+ years of experience in Contaminated Sites investigation and remediationIncluding at least 2 years in a project management or coordination capacityIn-depth understanding of the BC Environmental Management Act, Contaminated Sites Regulations, and related guidance/protocols
