Job Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, planning tasks throughout the process focusing on work orders.


Work Schedule: Dayshift, Monday to Friday (06:00 AM @ 02:30 PM)


Required Education/Experience:

  • College Diploma in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized maintenance environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in general troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs.


Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Project management skills.
  • Practical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Knowledge.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC electricity.
  • Initiative and high motivation.
  • Excellent coaching, meeting facilitation, content presentation, and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability in assessing mechanical capabilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a leader to ensure employee and team member development, as well as performance in quality, service, and safety.
  • Master programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Leverage knowledge and practical experience in operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to support equipment reliability in facilities.
  • Motivate team members and empower them to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct evaluations and allocate necessary resources to meet maintenance needs to support operations and maximize available labor.
  • Review and authorize regular and overtime hours to minimize labor costs.
  • Conduct reviews and recommend items for removal or addition for spare parts or spare parts rebuilds in the CMMS and workshop room through the red-tag process.
