Job Description:The Contractor, Microsoft 365 Administrator will be responsible for managing the Microsoft 365 tenant for M365 apps, including user accounts, groups, and license assignments.The role involves coordinating multi-factor authentication and conditional access policies with the security team.Additionally, the administrator will configure and maintain OneDrive and other M365 apps, implement governance policies for sharing and collaboration, and support adoption while providing Tier 2 troubleshooting for collaboration tools.The position also includes monitoring license usage, optimizing allocation, assisting with cost management and reporting, applying retention labels and basic compliance settings, and collaborating with the security team for advanced compliance and data loss prevention.Monitoring service health, resolving user issues, and using PowerShell for automation and bulk operations are also key aspects of this role.Demonstrating new Office 365 apps to the organization speaking to both functional and technical aspect of applications, organizing rolling out of the tools.Required Skills & QualificationsCandidates should have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for identity and access management, and proficiency in PowerShell scripting. An understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing and governance is essential, along with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.Preferred CertificationsMicrosoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) and Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) are preferred certifications for this role.
