Job Title: Android developer

Position Type: Full-time/ Contract

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada


In addition, this position qualifies for benefits like health insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(K). Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, and/or to comply with federal or state law.



Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain Android mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Write clean, efficient code using Kotlin, Java.
  • Design responsive user interfaces using XML.
  • Integrate C++ libraries into applications.
  • Implement API and backend services.
  • Conduct thorough testing for stability and performance.
  • Stay updated with Android technologies and best practices.


Required Skills And Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant and broad mobile engineering experience
  • Proven experience as an Android Developer with a portfolio of mobile applications
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java and XML for UI development
  • Experience with mobile frameworks, native SDKs, and API integration
  • Ability to integrate C++ libraries
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/delivery pipelines
  • Experience with iOS mobile platforms is a plus
