Responsibilities

  • Working with clients to determine needs and coordinate construction specific details, advise client on space planning, layout and use of furnishings or equipment, interior finish selections and coordination.
  • Detailing of custom millwork pieces for construction plans and review details of technical drawings or specifications.
  • Review of shop drawings during construction for compliance with working drawings. Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers, and trades.
  • Estimate project budget costs for use during Design Development and present design alternatives and solutions to client for approval.
  • Render design ideas in form of paste-ups or drawings.
  • Draw detailed or technical illustrations. Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) and related software to produce construction documents.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Junior Designer.


Qualifications

  • Diploma in Interior Designer from an accredited institution, with 4+ years of Interior Design experience.
  • Possess proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.
  • Prior experience working on a variety of projects, ideally with extensive experience in institutional design.
  • Experience of preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Hardworking, strong attention to detail and excellent graphic communication and presentation skills.


The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of $65-$85K + extended health benefits, monthly travel allowance, and opportunities for growth within the company.
