As an Investment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in our organization's success by assisting clients in making informed investment decisions within the exempt market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to understand their investment objectives and risk tolerance
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients, providing updates on their investments and addressing any inquiries
  • Educate clients about the exempt market, investment products, and potential risks
  • Analyze and assess clients' financial situations to recommend suitable investment products
  • Ensure all investment activities comply with relevant securities regulations, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements
  • Keep accurate records of client interactions and investment transactions
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines
  • Stay current on the exempt market and various investment products offered by Kazana Capital
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wealth management and financial planner industry
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and client acquisition efforts to expand the client base


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of exempt market product and securities regulations
  • Has passed either the Canadian Securities Course or the Exempt Market Products exam
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Past experience with Customer Relationship Management systems
  • A clean NRD history
