THE POSITION

  • Strategic Growth Strategies: Realize and implement strategies that align Vendors to Equipment growth targets. Provide focus and support to execute strategies at a field level. Understand Dental equipment and markets to bring new products and Vendors to our customers, leveraging market trends and industry insight.
  • Marketing & Sales Programs: Foster positive relations with Vendors to maximize market share with new product launches, exclusive sales campaigns, and negotiated programs and pricing. Align with Creative and Digital team to effectively bring these campaigns to field. Provide direction to sales and service teams to ensure focus and strategic alignment to the goals.
  • Revenue & Gross Profit Optimization: Oversee pricing strategy to maximize Gross Profit. Negotiate Vendor programs to drive incremental GP $ with showroom programs, rebates and co-op advertising support. Support operational and P&L activities that optimize and reduce costs.
  • Business ownership: As driver of the Equipment business, take ownership of budgets and reporting. Provide analysis and insight to data and identify opportunities for growth and improved KPIs that drive growth.
  • Talent: Support team to encourage growth and development and to maximize effectiveness.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

You have a post-secondary education in business, marketing or a related field, complimented by one to three years of previous leadership, management experience in a large business environment. You have knowledge and understanding of the ability to use tact and diplomacy in matters of business confidentiality. You have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, often finding the most efficient way on your own. You have advanced understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and strong knowledge of sales and marketing capital equipment and technology. You are a strategic thinker and have strong organizational agility skills to create and execute on strategic business plans.
