Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain documentation: Write clear, concise, and accurate documentation for products, features, and internal processes.Collaborate with teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation is technically accurate and user-friendly.Edit and review content: Proofread and edit documents for grammar, clarity, consistency, and adherence to the style guidelines.Organize information: Structure documentation for easy navigation and comprehension, using best practices in information architecture.Update documentation: Revise existing documents to reflect product updates, process changes, and feedback from users and stakeholders.Advocate for documentation quality: Promote the importance of clear documentation and contribute to documentation standards and best practices at Meta.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proven experience in technical writing, documentation, or content creation, preferably in a technology or software environment.Programming knowledge (preferred in Javascript/C++) to provide reference/foundational content to supplement the tutorial and how-to content Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Google Docs, Wiki platforms).Preferred QualificationsExperience or knowledge with the gaming development or industry would be a huge plus but not mandatory. Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Knowledge of software development processes and terminology.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Experience with visual communication (diagrams, screenshots, videos).
