The Opportunity:


Our client, a world-class provider of packaging and medication dispensing solutions is looking for a Director of Finance to join their team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure financial accuracy, drive strategic alignment, and provide leadership across all financial functions. As a trusted business partner, you will lead the finance team, overseeing everything from budgeting and forecasting to audits, compliance, and reporting.


What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Collaborate with Business Unit leaders and the Senior VP of Finance on high-impact initiatives, aligning financial strategy with business goals.
  • Leverage financial data to guide decision-making, providing key insights that shape both business unit and corporate strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous growth and excellence.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial health, operational efficiency, and progress toward strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to uncover connections between KPIs, revenue, and cost drivers, supporting long-term financial performance.
  • Ensure all financial records are accurate and complete, addressing any discrepancies or variances with urgency and precision.
  • Drive financial results by managing plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overarching company and business unit targets.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on departmental and unit performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee cash flow, banking, and working capital activities, ensuring strong financial health across all operations.
  • Ensure timely completion of audits, tax filings, and adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.
  • Provide financial expertise for capital investment proposals, ensuring accurate ROI calculations and validation of assumptions.
  • Protect and manage corporate assets, safeguarding financial interests.


What You’ll Need To Be Successful:


  • CPA designation.
  • 10+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational skills, thriving in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
